An ex-girlfriend told me about being chatted up by some guy in Hyde Park, who the next time she was in there proceeded to spin exactly the same lines on her until she pointed out that he'd tried it on a fortnight previously. The idea of the park pest was born.

We went down to Hyde Park one very hot Saturday, and filmed Alex being ridiculous, and got the wonderful Alexia Healy and Mellony Carr to play the women who put him in his place.

Editing it was tough, as every shot has to count in a fifteen second movie, but I was pretty pleased with the end result. And Alex does a great job in seeming really, really annoying.
